Hudson Bay Beanie

Knit Beanie

Hey Everyone, It is finally feeling like Spring is here to stay. The temperatures have decided to stay in the low 50s which is fine by me, because that means it still feels like I can continue to crochet and knit some winter items.

Last month I was able to join a makers group on Social Media called the Hook Nook Crochet Group. Through that group I signed up for The Hook Nook Official Gift Exchange. Pretty much you make a gift for another maker and mail it out and then you would receive a gift in the mail from someone else. It has been super eye opening to see so many other makers out there who want to find a common ground with other makers. The Spirit of competition can feel so dragging that it drowns the joys of being a maker. So this group has been refreshing for me!

Here are some items I sent out to my person. The purse was a free pattern at Make&DoCrochet

As I was adding goodies to my package I picked up this wonderful Hudson Bay Yarn by Lion Brand Wool EASE Thick and Quick. I made this hat in one afternoon!
