Here's the second half of the cardigan! We're going to pick up where we left off last week! 

New Abbreviations: 
BLO: back loop only
DC2tog: 

The Sleeves:

We work the even numbered rows in the back loops only just like the main pieces of the cardi. In Rows 2-8 we will decrease using at the very beginning of our row as well as the end of our row until the sleeve has 32 st remaining. 


Ch. 48 
Row 1: In the 2nd chain from the hook HDC across (46) ch 3
Row 2: BLO DC2tog, DC across, DC2tog last two st  (44) ch 2 turn
Row 3: HDC2tog, HDC across, HDC2tog  last 2 st (42) ch 3 turn
Row 4: BLO DC 2tog, DC across, DC2tog last 2 st  (40) ch 2 turn
Row 5: HDC2tog, HDC across, HDC2tog  last 2 st (38) ch 3 turn
Row 6: BLO DC2tog, DC across, DC2tog  last 2 st (36) ch 2 turn
Row 7: HDC2tog, HDC across, HDC2tog last 2 st (34) ch 3 turn
Row 8: BLO DC2tog, DC across, DC2tog last 2 st (32) ch 2 turn 
Row 9: HDC in each st across (32) ch 3 turn
Row 10: BLO DC in each st across (32) ch. 2 turn
Row 11-30: Continue rows 9 and 10 until Row 30

Fold sleeve in half and Slip stitch or sew sides together. 
 


Starting at the base of the armhole SC 46 ST evenly around the armhole of the main body. 





 SL st or sew the sleeve to the main body making sure the wider part in at the bottom.


Make sure and try your sweater on! The sleeves may be too short for you. My sleeves come down to my wrist bone. Don't worry, we will add the trim so they will make them longer too!
